GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work with schools in Worksop (S81), managing classrooms effectively and supporting students during teacher absences.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will deliver pre-prepared lessons, ensure positive behaviour, and keep pupils focused throughout the school day. You will help create a productive learning environment where students remain engaged and supported.
Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a structured learning space.
- Support pupils to complete tasks and remain on track.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and behaviour.
Requirements:
- A degree or relevant UK classroom experience.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A genuine interest in helping young people achieve their potential.
